It sits beside the front USB-C charging socket in the lower part of the console. BYD recommends FAT32 storage of up to 128 GB and notes that some devices are incompatible.

The two ports behind the armrest serve rear passengers. The USB-A there is for charging only, and the manual rates the adjacent USB-C at 60 W. Check that the vehicle is ON or shows OK if the sockets have no power.

BYDbase editorial guide. This guide follows the GCC / Middle East & Africa manual. The diagram shows where to find the cord. Use the controls one at a time and keep the vehicle stopped and switched off while folding the seats.

If the mechanism is out of sequence after the handle and cord were used together, BYD tells owners to straighten the seatback and reset the cord. When returning the seat to its normal position, listen for the latch and check that the backrest is locked before driving.

BYDbase editorial guide. This guide follows the GCC / Middle East & Africa manual. The same map marks the physical A/C buttons (5), the vehicle start control (6) and the hazard light switch (7). It also shows where to find the manual steering-wheel adjustment (8) and the gear controls (9).

The centre console has its own diagram and starts numbering again. Here, the wireless phone charger is (2), the 12 V socket is (5) and the front USB ports are (6). The refrigerator (4) is marked as optional.

A quick walk-through while parked: find the hazard switch, the A/C buttons and the gear controls first. Then use the console diagram to locate the socket or USB port you need.

BYDbase editorial guide. This guide follows the GCC / Middle East & Africa manual.
