YANGWANG says its U9 Track Edition reached 472.41 km/h at the ATP Automotive Testing Papenburg facility in Germany on 8 August 2025. Racing driver Marc Basseng drove the car, with the BYD luxury brand presenting the result as a new electric car speed record.
