BYD HAN EV: reading the charge-port light while waiting or charging

Featured Replies

The HAN EV manual distinguishes a flashing yellow light during initialisation from steady yellow while charging is scheduled or paused. During charging, the indicator flashes green. Steady green indicates that charging is complete.

When a session has not started, compare the light with the schedule and the charger display. A steady red light is listed as a charge or discharge fault, so check the messages and the manual before trying another session. Flashing blue is the state shown for external discharging.
